The Department of Justice and the Organisation for Migration (the UN Migration Agency) are currently cooperating on a public awareness initiative on Human Trafficking.

Well informed members of the public can play a key role in the identification of victims of trafficking.

This initiative involves awareness raising measures on social media and in key transport hubs, to convey the message that human trafficking is a crime and that #anyone can be exploited.  It aims to empower the public to know the signs of human trafficking and to provide information, in a range of languages, to victims of trafficking on how to access support.

This work is being undertaken with the support of a number of other state agencies and non-state organisations.
